{Pre-Fab Skateparks | PREFAB = BAD}

We've been building skateboard ramps and parks since 1984...

Before skateboarding was a fad - we helped create the fad...

Purchase your skatepark from a company that lives skateparks. Not from a company trying to cash in on the craze because skateboarding is now "profitable"

Download this .pdf document and take it to your town or city and make sure they don't get a modular park! Modular.pdf

SkateNorCal.com - Prefab : ...It was absolutely disgusting. Most of the ramps were absolute crap. These people have no business telling city's what skaters want. Most of them have no affiliation with skaters of any kind. It's big business trying to cash in on the "skatepark craze".

Modular Skate Parks are Evil : : An excellent article from (Big Brother) at Skateboard.com

Lame Public Parks : Read about some common mistakes here...

BS or Bad Endorsements : Why are pros endorsing this crap?

BadSkateparks.com - Prefab : Prefab should never be considered.? This park is not suitable for skateboarding. Companies who try to sell these products are interested only in their own bottom line.

Read about pre-fabbed parks : "Kahuku follows the footsteps of Wahiawa and gets modular prefabricated Skatewave obstacles. Made by playground equipment companies, these obstacles severely fail to attract users and are often left unused. Building unchallenging and uncreative pre-fabricated obstacles, companies like Skatewave are quick to cash in on the 'skatepark bandwagon' and are completely out of touch with the long-term needs of the skateboard community.

Are you considering Purkiss-Rose? : Don't hire Purkiss Rose to design your skate park. They are the most prolific skatepark designer in the country (world?) and yet they continue to yield lame facilities as late as 2002...

"...Rather than go on and on I'll let you see for yourself what forces are trying to weasel into the skatepark industry. Make sure you tell your city council and city planners "DON'T DO IT""
