Statement of Qualifications : why use us?

Suburban Rails designs and build custom wood framed private/indoor and public/outdoor skateparks, as well as designs concrete skateparks. Since 1997 the company has completed over 100 projects. The design and construction teams are made up of experienced skate boarders, inline skaters and bikers who understand the specific needs of the end user and take great pride in their work. Designs are customized to the wishes and needs of local skaters with consideration to flow, appropriate transitions and spacing, and budget. Designs are done in Auto CAD. Wood framed construction is to the highest standards, requiring little or no maintenance. We feel that all previous clients are good references and encourage you to call them. We carry all necessary insurance, including workman's comp, general and auto liability, finished product liability, and bonding is available.

Design

Suburban Rails designs concrete and wood framed skateparks. Each of our designs are unique and customized to the site, the wishes of the local skaters, and the needs of the owners. We have designed skateparks over an acre to as small as 1000 sq. ft. in size

Whether large or small, our parks are designed to provide skaters with a fun and safe place to skate. Our skateparks include elements for all levels of skating ability, from beginners to advanced, with sufficient variety to challenge the skaters and keep them coming back for more. Elements are designed with the proper transitions and heights, and the layouts allow flow from one element to the next.

Design services include:

Assist in the site selection.
Determine design and construction parameters (wood vs. concrete, size, budget, amenities).
Preparation of custom concept designs for wood, concrete or combination of the two.
Preparation of detailed drawings for concrete skateparks.
Provide budget estimates.
Provide detailed specifications for skatepark construction.
Production of drawings in various formats using the latest version of AutoCad.
