Skatepark Planning FAQ - Our Design Process

PRIVATE SKATEPARK DESIGN / BUILD PROCESS:
So, you're looking to get a private skatepark built and you have lots of questions. Rest assured that we're here to help you with this process.

From beginning to end we're here to answer any questions you might possibly have. From how big should i build my park, what ramp surface should I use, Where do I get Skatepark Insurance, etc... Please don't hesitate to call or email with any questions. We'll do our best to respond as quickly as we can!

LISTEN and DISCOVER
In the beginning, we listen to your dreams and why your skatepark is a necessity for you and your area.

DEFINE and ANALYZE
Then, we get down to figuring out exactly what this dream skatepark will be like by answering a few questions.
-how much you intend to spend
-how many square feet you have to work with
-what ramps / features would you like in your park
-what are your local demographics; rider types, population, etc..
-what rider levels do you intend to attract
-do you have competition. what are they doing well? what can you do better?
-what parks do you like to ride? what's there?

DESIGN SKATEPARK
From these initial questions we'll share some sample designs with you to get the wheels rolling.
After looking at the sample drawings will start to pull together a skatepark design for you. This design will best reflect your available space, available budget and riders needs. We'll start tweaking this design so the it gives the best bang for the buck.

IMPROVE THE SKATEPARK DESIGN
We're getting close...
We'll the final design will start to take place. We'll be looking at the park from every angle to make ensure that the skatepark is safe, remains within budget, works within your available space, has good flow, has exciting ramps / features, etc...

During this process we're constantly running the park through our spreadsheets. From our spreadsheets we know exactly how many 2x6's, sheets of plywood, Skatelite or other surface material, metal coping down to the exact number of screws to buy! We don't want to waste your money or our time building this park.

BUILD THE SKATEPARK!
At any time during this process when you feel confident with our skills you can sign a design / build contract. This contract will "lock in" a skatepark construction build date for you. We do this because we operate on a first come first serve basis and need to get dates penciled into the calendar for our clients. In our contract we specify how many days it will take us to build your park. If we go over the set amount of days, we pay money back to you! This is insurance that you can begin to market your park and have an opening day scheduled in advance. We have not had to pay any of clients a fine for taking too long!
